Born and raised in the north of England, Emma has always been passionate about the water, mostly the sea. She is a trained educator and marine scientist with some freshwater thrown in for good measure. Emma has worked on conservation projects in The Philippines and New Zealand, run her own science education business and was a senior lecturer at Toi Ohomai Institute of Technology for 8 years. Connecting people through community based conservation and sharing her passion through training and education are her main roles at Bay Conservation Alliance. You can find Emma in the sea or in the forest on her days off!
