Freshwater Conservation (Rotorua, 23 & 24 May 2026)

About Course

This Freshwater Conservation two-day training unit covers stream ecology and the main methods for monitoring a stream.

Participants will be introduced to the animals and plants that live in a stream, the conditions required for a healthy stream and the survey methods to monitor these indicators.

*NEW DATE: This two-day training unit will be held on Sat & Sun, 23 & 24 May 2026 (9am-4pm) at Lakes View Golf Course, Hamurana, Rotorua.

*This was originally to be held on 18 & 19 April and postponed due to the weather. Unsuitable weather conditions (or other unforeseen circumstances) may mean we have to postpone this day. Once enrolled updates and options will be available in the ‘Announcements’ tab no later than 8:00pm on the night before each day.
