Introduction to Pest Animal Control (Kaharoa Forest, 2 July 2026)

This Introduction to Pest Animal Control unit will cover the basic information on pest control protocols in Aotearoa. Participants will gain hands-on skills – critical to setting traps safely – and review a pest control line in the field.

This one-day training unit will be held on Thursday 2 July 2026 (9am-4pm) at Kaharoa Forest.

• Unsuitable weather conditions (or other unforeseen circumstances) may mean we have to postpone this day. Once enrolled, any updates will be available in the course ‘Announcements’ tab no later than 8:00pm on Wednesday 1 July.
• Minimum enrolment numbers are required for this training day to go ahead.
